In April 2004, UCB became the first bank in Cambodia to issue the VISA Platinum credit card, and it now captures a major share of the VISA Platinum credit card market in the country. Additionally, UCB has expanded the locations of it services, and currently possesses branches in Sihanoukville, Battambang, and Siem Reap. With its network establishment, UCB allows its customers to withdraw from, deposit, and transfer money within all branch offices (and the head office in Phnom Penh), not to mention countless other local and international banks.

In order to further help facilitate financial transactions for its customers, UCB has partnered with the strongly-credited international banks, the Standard Chartered Bank and the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. These financial institutions have served as UCB's main correspondent banks for international transactions since UCB's inception. UCB maintains accounts with Standard Chartered Bank's branches in Hong Kong and New York.
